The dimensions of the project are enormous. Together with its base, the statue rises as much as 240 metres above the ground and stands in a setting of two hectares, framed by an artificial twelve-square-metre lake. The site is equipped with modern transport infrastructure such as motorways, an improved railway system and helipads. In addition, the construction of 7-star hotels and other infrastructure measures are in the planning stage. The construction consists of two reinforced concrete cylinders inside, surrounded by a steel skeleton. On the outside, the statue is clad with 8 millimetre thick bronze plates. The engineering office Larsen & Toubro and the construction company Turner relied on numerous fischer fixing products as contractors.
